Jonathan Law High School

Established in 1961, Jonathan Law High School is one of two high schools serving the City of Milford, CT. Since 2004 the Lawmen have been members of the Southern Connecticut Conference of Athletics. Comprised of approximately 870 students, Law fields 24 different athletic teams. The school's football program is a member of the CIAC competing in Class M at both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Levels.

Jonathan Law High School, and the city of Milford, have a strong dedication to the academic performance of our student-athletes with GPA requirements far exceeding state standards. Law Football embraces and fully supports this initiative for our student-athletes, with an intensive focus on Academic Performance resulting in majority shares on the Honor Roll year round. Law Football works to provide an environment fostering a dedication to others above self, community, resilience, personal and athletic development, problem-solving, and discipline.

The Lawmen practice, train, and compete with and on the premier facilities in the conference and state. Recent investments include transitioning to Riddell SpeedFlex Helmets, a $150,000 upgrade to our Weight Room Facility, and adding a second Artificial Turf Complex totaling 2.8 Million Dollars. Continued support from the Milford Board of Education, and the Taxpayers of Milford, ensures we are at the cutting edge in facilities and equipment at all times.

The Lawmen compete in front of home crowds in their signature Black and Gold's at the 2500-seat Lawmen Stadium, nestled in the Historic Devon Neighborhood.
